These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Hisabbo’s website, mobile applications, and related services. By creating an account or using Hisabbo, you agree to these Terms.

Using Hisabbo

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • You agree to use Hisabbo only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm other users or the service.

Groups, expenses, and settlements

  • Hisabbo helps groups track shared expenses and suggested settlements. Balances shown in the app are informational and depend on data entered by users.
  • Hisabbo does not process payments directly unless explicitly stated. Settlements made outside the app, including via UPI or other payment methods, are between users.
  • You are responsible for verifying amounts, participants, and settlement details before making or requesting payments.

Content you submit

  • You retain ownership of content you submit, such as expense notes and receipt images.
  • You grant Hisabbo a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the service for you and your group members.
  • You must not upload content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or harmful.

Acceptable use

  • You may not attempt to access another user’s account, interfere with the service, scrape data without permission, or reverse engineer our software except where permitted by law.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the platform.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • Hisabbo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hisabbo is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes and contact

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Hisabbo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
